Adverts

Research:

Advertisements may both encourage you to do something or to warn you against doing something. When an ad tells you what not to do, it is called "negative advertising".

This type of advertisements usually refers to negative aspects of the product or action tackled.

This post is the collection of most persuading advertisements that show what is going to happen if you continue doing that, visualize the affect or the message:

"Smoking causes premature ageing"

Smoking: negative advertisement

This image was purposely created to make us shocked and sick of the picture so we could get a message that 'smoking is bad', and it persuades us to stop it. It gives us an image of us being like this in the future and creates us to disagree with 'smoking', making us want to stop.
