Feedback From Dan on Our Final Rough Cut (Part 3)

In this video, Dan (Teacher) talks about the Sound for our Opening. Sound is effective for our Opening as it will not make it seem as a thriller film if sound is not added so this feedback is helpful.


Good:

• Sounds like Drones and the screechy sounds work as it sets a gloomy effect.

Bad:

• We have added footsteps onto our film, the feedback we got from this is that there were too loud and should use it more for the girl in shot but at a lower sound.
• A heartbeat was also added and was said that it is not effective as the sound heartbeat is associated with someone dying and our film opening doesn't indicate that.

Suggestion:

• A suggestion Dan brought unto us is we should include Static phonic sounds as it will give a better effect onto a certain clip Dan illustrated.
• As a dog was used Dan said Dog sounds could be effective.

From the previous clips including Part 3 of the feedback we got from Dan we are going to now make the changes that was made for us and from this it will make our production better.
