Intertextuality of Our Film Opening.

In our film we have aspects from a film that we have watched in previous lessons, the film is Seven, the idea we used from this film is the cutting up of the pictures and placing them onto a photo album where it shows that the character is obsessed or gives an idea that there's a connection between the pictured character and the character that has taken them.

We also got aspects from He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not where it is about a woman who is interested in a man and buys him a rose, however, although the film does not show a man in the clip the audience get an idea that the woman is in love with someone through the mise en scene.

These two pictures indicate that she is buying a rose for someone as the subtitles say "to celebrate a meeting to surprise him". this to the audience gives them an idea that a man is involve and she must have feelings for him as she is buying something for him.

Here shows the woman picking out a rose for someone - could be for the man she is obsessed with.
Here shows the man receiving a rose from someone to his workplace. this shows towards the audience that he may have a secret admire.

Another film that we watched was Mezine where a woman is walking her dog and in our production, it shows this also so we got aspects from this film also. However in our production a man is walking a dog instead of a woman.
