Sound for the Pitch

                SOUND

I chose a couple of sounds from ‘soundtrack pro’ to give you (the audience) a taster of what kind of sounds will be heard in our ‘thriller opening’. I looked for scary sounds that would make the audience jump and shocked. This will make the clip more like a thriller.

I put in sounds like ‘Heart beats’, to build tension for when something bad is about to happen. This makes the final emotion of the audience more effective.

I also put in slow, low pitched ‘orchestral instruments’, to make the clip have a base sound, so people know what kind of clip they are watching from the sounds they hear in the begining.

Diegetic sounds will also be used to make the clip look more realistic, and not to give an effect on the audience that something is missing. For example, ‘knife sounds’ or ‘footsteps’.

I will also add a breathing sound, to make a sence of ‘following’ in the clip. When the man is being followed, breathing sounds would make the audience more scared and worried for the man. It will make the women look evil/psycho.

Finally, i have come to a conclusion that the sounds should be negative and evil. These are the sounds that will make the clip look more like a ‘thriller’, and make the audience feel the emotions that are suppose to be presented.
